Embedded Software Engineer in C (m/f)

Location: Munich


  • You will analyze and technically evaluate system requirements, applications (C, real-time capable software)
  • and interfaces (CAN, LIN, IPC, etc.)
  • Prototyping key features and system-critical functions
  • You will verify, optimize, and refactor code
  • You’ll synchronize with other development departments and project management
  • Identifying and recruiting additional talent and further expanding the team


  • You have a university degree in one of the following fields: electrical engineering, embedded systems,
  • technical computing and/or computer science
  • Should have at least 5 years of professional experience as a developer
  • You have good and demonstrable knowledge of circuitry and measuring devices
  • Practical experience in the field of bus systems, particularly Vector Tool Chain
  • Ideally, experience using wireless technology and related software stacks (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GSM, GPS)
  • You are very familiar with git, software quality metrics, automated tests (unit tests, user interface), ongoing
  • integration and agile software development in general
  • In-depth knowledge of the automotive sector: SPICE and ISO26262
  • You are confident in using diagnostic protocols
  • Fluent spoken and written English (this is the team’s lingua franca)
  • Active participation in the open source community desired
  • You enjoy creating something new, adding your input and seeing your ideas be actualized
  • Passion for cycling (mtb, road, etc.) and sustainable transportation
  • You spend your free time with your Raspberry Pi or hacking your radiator
