Software Release Manager (m/f)

Location: Munich


  • You will coordinate software releases from multiple agile development teams for state-of-the-art Light Electric Vehicle systems (pedelecs, e-bikes, smart bicycles, etc.)
  • You’ll be maintaining the build process across technology boundaries: GNU C/ Embedded, Linux/ ARM32, Application/ CMake, Mobile/ QMake, etc.
  • Scripting and maintenance of our automated build infrastructure (Jenkins, Yocto, etc.)
  • Documentation of released versions, variants, their differences and their component interdependencies, incl. deployment and archival of build artefacts, are among your duties
  • You will be driving the improvement of our continuous delivery process
  • You’ll interface with our Quality Assurance and Project Manager


  • You have at least 3 years of professional experience as a developer in an industry context
  • You’ve a university degree in Computer Science or other relevant subjects
  • Experience with several of the following technologies: Jenkins, git, CMake, Yocto, Python, JIRA
  • You have a structured, systematic method of working
  • Interest, initiative and readiness to be introduced to new focus areas
  • You’ve had experience with processes and tools from agile software development
  • Fluent spoken and written English (this is the team’s lingua franca)
  • Active participation in the open source community desired
  • You enjoy creating something new, adding your input and seeing your ideas be actualized
  • Passion for cycling (mtb, road, etc.) and sustainable transportation
  • You spend your free time with your Raspberry Pi or hacking your radiator
