Product Manager E-Bike In-Vehicle Networking (m/f)

Location: Munich


  • You will develop embedded components for e-bikes (hardware and software)
  • You’ll collect and define external and internal product requirements. You’ll use these to create requirement specifications which you’ll then prioritize
  • Together with OEMs (vehicle manufacturers) and partners (component manufacturers), you will carry out technical coordination and pre-development
  • You will lead and instruct an international and interdisciplinary team.
  • The budget, schedule and quality level will be your own responsibility
  • You’ll implement a start-up mentality by combining your technical understanding with business acumen
  • You’ll utilize efficient problem and risk management in a ‘hands-on’ style


  • You have a university degree in information technology, electronics, electrical engineering or other relevant subjects
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in project managing the development of embedded devices
  • An equally good basic understanding of embedded architectures as well as hardware and electronics developments belongs to your attributes
  • You have experience with agile development processes as well as the relevant tools
  • Interest or experience in the bicycle and/or automobile industry would be a definite plus
  • Experience in designing systems while taking functional safety into account would be particularly desirable
  • Good analytical and communication skills
  • You’re a flexible and good team player
  • Fluent spoken and written English (this is the team’s lingua franca)
  • Active participation in the open source community desired
  • You enjoy creating something new, adding your input and seeing your ideas be actualized
  • Passion for cycling (mtb, road, etc.) and sustainable transportation
  • You spend your free time with your Raspberry Pi or hacking your radiator
