Electronics Engineer (m/f)

Location: Hong Kong


  • You’ll be designing schematics/layouts and verifying designs from your colleagues
  • You will identify and select suitable components (ICs, chip sets, modules)
  • Identify, select and coordinate service providers (design houses, product testing services, rapid prototype manufacturer, distributors, ODM/OEM engineers, etc.)
  • You will develop electronic and functional test plans
  • Qualify the design of your assemblies (CE/ EMI, FCC, etc.)
  • You’ll be supporting NPI engineering during sample stages, set-up of the assemply process and SOP
  • Coordinate with Product Management, Project Management, Mechanical Engineers and 3rd Level Service
  • Reverse engineer benchmark products/assemblies and prototype critical designs
  • You will proactively identify and collect new electronic design concepts


  • You have a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering or a similar discipline
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in electronic design
  • You have experience in using Altium Designer or Protel for schematic capture and PCB layouts
  • You’re experienced in using MS office
  • Excellent command of English and Mandarin, to liaise both with our Munich office and with regional suppliers
  • Having experience with radio frequency design is a plus (e.g. Bluetooth / GPS)
  • Experience in HDI products is desirable
  • If you have DCDC converter design experience, that would be a definite plus
  • Active participation in the open source community desired
  • You enjoy creating something new, adding your input and seeing your ideas be actualized
  • Passion for cycling (mtb, road, etc.) and sustainable transportation
  • You spend your free time with your Raspberry Pi or hacking your radiator


  • Frequent travel to ODM/ OEM sites in Shenzhen and the Dongguan area
  • You’ll be working in a dynamic working environment with a young, growing team

  • Experience flat hierarchies and direct communication channels
  • You will actively shape the future user experience in the e-mobility sector
