Software Engineer C++/ Qt (m/f)

Location: Munich


  • You’ll be developing high-quality C++ software components for state of the art light electric vehicle systems (pedelecs, e-bikes, smart bicycles, etc.)
  • You will ensure that critical code is robust and maintainable in the long term
  • Programming of real-time code, asynchronous data interfaces, wireless interfaces and touch-controlled user-interfaces based on Qt for embedded and mobile
  • You will create and maintain unit-tests as well as refactoring code
  • You’ll be building, testing, debugging and profiling in Linux and Qt, the systems of choice
  • Definition and documentation of public API’s and protocols, which are made available to third parties as SDKs for developing applications based on our technology
  • Planning and coordination of tasks using agile principles (Scrum and Kanban) in multiple, cross-functional teams with flat hierarchies
  • You’ll coordinate with developers from our service providers, with teams using our SDK, and with licensors to create applications


  • You have a comprehensive and demonstrated ability to write modern, high quality C++ code
  • You’ve a university degree in computer science or a related field
  • Experience with C++, Linux, Qt/ QML, real time code, message passing/IPC, git, JIRA and CMake
  • You are willing to show initiative and independently familiarize yourself with new topics
  • A structured and systematic way of thinking
  • You have experience with tools and processes from agile software development
  • Fluent spoken and written English (this is the team’s lingua franca)
  • Active participation in the open source community desired
  • You enjoy creating something new, adding your input and seeing your ideas be actualized
  • Passion for cycling (mtb, road, etc.) and sustainable transportation
  • You spend your free time with your Raspberry Pi or hacking your radiator
