Requirements Engineer E-Bike Displays (m/f)

Location: Munich


  • You will analyze and collect requirements (Requirements Engineering) for state-of-the-art displays on light electric vehicles (pedelecs, e-bikes, smart bicycles, etc.)
  • You’ll specify both internal interfaces (CAN) and external interfaces (C++/Qt API)
  • Your tasks include documentation and maintenance of requirements (Requirements Management) based on priorities defined by the product owner in Enterprise Architect (UML) and Confluence (prose)
  • You’ll support our QA team in creating system tests
  • You will coordinate with a team of several analysts, and you’ll work together with our product owners and software architects.
  • You’ll translate the product owner’s vision into functional requirements, with clear specifications for the  software developers.


  • You have a university degree in computer science with a strong focus on software development
  • Required are at least 1-2 years of professional experience in business analysis and/or software development
  • You have a very good knowledge of UML
  • You’ve a deep understanding of Linux-based devices with graphical user interfaces (Qt)
  • Additional knowledge in the following areas would be ideal: mobile operating system (Android, iOS), fitness devices (GPS trackers, bicycle computers, Smartwatches), cloud services for fitness data (Google Fit, Apple  Health, Strava, Runtastic,...)
  • You are skilled in analytical and conceptual thinking
  • You can work independently, while you also enjoy working in a team (product owner, user experience, software architect, software team, QA, project manager)
  • Fluent spoken and written English (this is the team’s lingua franca)
  • You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced and multicultural environment
  • Active participation in the open source community desired
  • Passion for cycling (mtb, road, etc.) and sustainable transportation
  • You spend your free time with your Raspberry Pi or hacking your radiator
